Just an hour or so, and the candy take was HUGE!

Kissing, gators & dogs (not football), and the beach!
First, stopped to check out the cool statue in Sarasota.

Roadtrip!
Hitting Sarasota Beach for the night. Dinner out with the family (and the dog... laying under the table) at a cool restaurant on the circle at St Armand. Then hanging with some great friends Jason and Christine.
Tomorrow the beach and maybe some cool shops before heading home.

Oh the places we will go and the things we will see!
On our way to the Mt. Dora Art Festival we found the "Betty Boop Mobile"
*(and lest you think this is a crazy teen's car, it was parked
in a 55+ only community parking lot!)
Then Eli found art that seemed to work well for him...
Naomi embraced her inner hippy, and since it had PINK she got a tie-dye.

Then when shopping on the way home, I noticed that my neighborhood
PUBLIX GROCERY STORE here in Florida has a totally different section
that I do not remember ever seeing in Alabama!

Ok so even if you turn off the TV and listen only to Z88.3 (who doesn't air any) you still cannot escape political ads.
Wonder what possesses a person to do this, either way, liberal or conservative? Though I have to believe that his inability to keep his opinions to himself could very well have led to his unemployment, hence the tag "Mr Mom"...

Fourteen years ago today my life changed for the better

While I spent the day working at the Z88.3 booth at
the Southern Women's show,
(that is a real cake made for it btw)
Tina was suppose to be at the Univ. of Alabama homecoming festivities
with her sister and all our kids. Instead they all got stomach flu.
So I substituted a picture of what her day has consisted of
(at least what symptoms are on the label...)
yuck.

Another very productive breakfast meeting today.
First, Naomi and I started with a quick strategy session.
Then we ate and discussed plans for the future.
We managed to get in one more quick session to help sharpen our focus.
As we left, Naomi noticed was this sign on the wall.
She asked why children needed razors... I assume
this advertising campaign was not what they had hoped for. :)
