Disney hosted a Youth Pastor event today with Sidewalk Prophets, Francesca Battistelli, and MercyMe. Not only did I attend, but was able to help emcee the event.
Wasn't too busy on the tram when we arrive at Hollywood studios!
Right behind Bart Millard at the buffet during lunch. Looks pretty good!!
New Artist of the Year, Sidewalk Prophets took the stage first!
Then Franny came out to play beautifully.
Robbie working hard on the drums and Jim rockin the keyboards!
I Can Only Imagine!

Naomi gets ready for All Stars, and Eli throws with power he did not know he had!
Today was the first official meeting and practice of the Altamonte Springs 6 and under All-Star team. The coaches got the girls together to go over things, then get to practice.
While they were practicing, Eli and I were throwing the ball. Once he threw it by me hard one time and it hit the fence behind me. I looked around on the ground and could not find the ball... then I noticed it was stuck IN the fence! He didn't know his own strength!

Just yesterday I told my coworkers "I never get sick" and that night I started feeling bad. Today I have lived on a combination of tea, cold medicine and nasal spray. My head feels like a brick. :(

I love cool band names... I used to love to drive by a club called The Nick (in Alabama) that always had really funny, odd band names on their sign. Well thanks to my new "Local Concerts" app on the iPhone I can do the same thing anytime. Here is just a few really good ones that are coming to Orlando this week! I think my favorite is Sky Eats Airplane.

Church, lunch, softball All-star try-outs, dinner with old friends, gas in bad neighborhood, then ACM awards with my girl.
Naomi and her Sunday school class praying. (she is trying so hard to keep those eyes shut!)
Dinner with the Hutzlers visiting from Alabama. We went to the Elephant Bar restaurant. 16 month old Ellie, daughter of two BIG Bama fans, of course new exactly what sound an elephant made!
Then we got gas right across the street from the Orange County Jail (where Casey Anthony is right now... ) The gas station had a bail bond agent on duty so you KNOW it was a good neighborhood!
Then home to watch the ACM awards with my girl Bailey. :)

Today we did softball and garage sales.
Naomi had a doubleheader and did great. Several hits, RBIs and an inside-the-park homerun!
Then we went for a walk in our neighborhood and hit several garage sales. Eli has found something he can't live without.

I'm sad that I totally forgot that yesterday was JACKIE ROBINSON DAY! It was gorgeous today so I headed home to get my kids and hit the batting cages!
I have to say I got a little lump in my throat looking at my little brown boy and my little china doll hitting.... thankful for all that has changed since Jackie Robinson's day. Today they can do anything they want (and they want to play baseball!)

Ok, so I get a call tonight from Tina that she was about 45 mins from home at the end of a 10 hour drive back fron Alabama,
then the car started acting up... so I spent my evening driving an hour away to get Tina and the kids, while calling our insurance and tow trucks, etc.
Not a great homecoming end to a great trip for Tina and our car is going to be in the shop getting worked on (YIKES) most of the week, but all in all it is good to have Tina & the kids back at least! :)

Today we celebrated our friend Dean O'Neal's birthday (which was actually yesterday) with a large group of coworkers crashing a top notch sushi place in Lake Mary called AMURA.
A lot of people from the Z came out to partake and celebrate with Deano.
Then the food came and things got serious!
I got the Kamikaze Roll (which is a Super Spicy Deluxe Tuna Roll)
And the Rock and Roll (Eel, tuna and shrimp tempura)
DELICIOUS!
