Really nice evening with an old friend, Andrew Peterson.
He sang a bunch of songs for the radio station staff
then headed out to eat with the family.

Today was filled with Joy and Pain.
First church where coffee, donuts and grace are given out freely.

Mom's out with the girls, so tonight is Daddy Fun Night with the kids!
They were pretty hyped up and excited by the time the pizza came.
In the end 30 dollars got us cheap pizza, tons of video games, skee
ball and a few toys worth about 30 cents. But it was lots of fun!

Naomi and Eli have both found things they really like to do.
Naomi loves to do ironing and do the dishes.
That makes momma very happy!
Eli just likes to entertain us with his funny faces and gas. ;)

5 years ago today changed everything.
We headed to China to pick up Naomi with only this picture of her.
Here is the first moment we laid eyes on her...
She was confused and upset.
Eli was concerned for her.
Within 2 hours she was relaxed and smiling for us.
And took to her big brother immediately!
And this moment made all the time, travel, and red tape worth it!
Tonight, 5 years later, she is more beautiful than ever
and chose Chinese food for her "gotcha day" dinner!

First game of Fall softball season.
Naomi's new team is the Altamonte Amazings.
And their colors are purple and white.
(which the moms were SO excited about, knowing red clay
will set so easily in white!)
And we realized that the LOVE BUG season is now in full swing!

Tonight I was lucky enough to hang with The Orlando Union Rescue Mission, singer Jason Gray, and a few hundred great people helping raise awareness to the issue of homelessness.
It's called One Homeless Night, and like every year, it was a blessing to participate.
