Great night out with friends at a new coffee shop/restaurant (Avocado Girl) and got smoked in SORRY by Naomi!

Today I went to county offices to see about the "ticket" I got for having an expired insurance card... Even though I didn't!
The cop simply misread EFF Date (which stands for Effective Date, noted at the bottom of the card) and thought it was Expiration date. Simple mistake I was sure they could easily straighten out.

Here is my insurance card.
They all agreed it was the officer's mistake.

And still they charged me the $10 fine. They said I could take it to court...

But then I saw this note they posted in the payment window...

and decided to shut up and pay up.

Family night at ESPN Wide World Of Sports at Disney.

Watching Jennie Finch, Jessica Mendosza and Naomi's favorite player

Charlotte Morgan (former Alabama 1st baseman) play softball!

(among others... LOTS of stars and Olympians on these teams!)

Then EVERYONE lined up for autographs...

(and it was still 90 degrees out there to by the way)

Tina is such a good mom, she helped Naomi get in there

and fight to get her hero's autograph...

It was 10:30 at night, hot as can be, crowded and sweaty

but worth it because Charlotte Morgan signed the picture

that Naomi brought of when they met a few months ago

in Alabama.

Early start for the swim meet worked out great.

Eli did great.
Then after a long rain delay Naomi's team won big to advance
to the SouthEast Regional championship game tomorrow.

Our girls lead off the opening ceremony tonight for the SE Regional Softball Tournament (that will hopefully stay on schedule tomorrow and Sunday despite the weather forecast...)
