Daddy funday! I took the kids on a fun adventure in downtown Atlanta!
First, a ride on the MARTA.
Then some time in Centennial Olympic Park!
After that, we headed into the World of CocaCola!
Where they saw LOTS of cool things like this REAL Olympic Torch!
We drank soda from ALL OVER THE WORLD but the best one is still the original, Coca-Cola, from right here in the USA!

My wife is so unbelievably talented! Look at her latest artwork. She drew it with pastels. It looks even more impressive in person. It is so hard to capture it well with a camera phone.

Whoever designed the bathrooms at the local Softball fields was EITHER a strong, independent woman or a very confused man who is dumb enough to think that Dads can do as well at things that Moms can.
These doors are right next to each other. I guess women CAN smoke, but Can't change a baby in their bathroom....

Naomi made a new friend today at the library. Attia is 4 years old, but is as big as Naomi. She started the conversation with Tina and Naomi by pointing out that they did not look that much alike.... then she was really confused when Eli walked up! :)
While Naomi read with Attia, Eli was entertaining a baby. He is such a great kid!
Naomi is a role model. She read four books to Attia who hung on every word she read.
And she was so happy to have a new friend. :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
After cards, gifts and morning at church, we went to Boston Fish House, mom's choice for lunch!

And it was GOOOOOOOOD!
We say this in the parking lot and decided that she needs this sticker on her car!
Afternoon of "peace and quiet" at home because I left with the kids for a while... then dinner at Italian Village Pizza (YUMMY!) and they gave all Moms a free dessert. Tina was nice enough to share!!
She is the best mom ever! :)

When I was little, my parents LOVED Simon & Garfunkel. Our favorite song was CECILIA. We have home movies of me and my brother dancing to it when we I was 3 and he was 1. Well today it came on the radio and my kids started going crazy for it.... then I heard the lyrics we were all dancing to. What were my parents thinking? ;)
Apparently my kids did not pay any more attention to the words than I did when I was there age... whew!
